A day to remember and reflect - 09/11/2008

It is difficult to believe that so much time has passed since we heard those first unbelievable reports that two planes had crashed into the buildings of the World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon and yet another in a Pennsylvania field.

The anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, offers a time to remember and to reflect about this unforgettable moment in history, and to reconsider the effect that September 11 has had on the United States and the world.  Let’s all take a moment today to remember all those who were affected by these events and to reflect on what was learned that day about patriotism and tolerance.
