How long have you played The Matrix Online?

I have been part of the online community since before open beta.

What other MMOs have you played?

I have not played any other MMOs.

What type of work do you do?

I work in accounting and I'm in school for my Masters degree.

What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?

I have been gaming ever since my grandfather introduced me to pong when I was two. My first game systems were Atari and ColecoVision. I love strategy turn based games, sports games, and first person shooters.

What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing The Matrix Online?

I am a political activist, which is actually like work. I love to play basketball, workout, and play with my kids.

What is your highest character level in The Matrix Online?

My highest-level character is level 50, which took me 4 months to hit.

How or why did you choose your main character's name?

Sattakan is actually a translation of my real name from one of the Lord of the Rings ancient languages. It was unique and was guaranteed not to be taken by someone else.

What archetype and ability tree is your main character?

My main character is currently a doctor, but I have used every single tree except the gunman tree.

Why did you choose the archetype and ability tree that you did?

I have been a tank and on the front lines for so long that now it is fun to run support for the team. I may not get many kills like Illyria or Blazinwolf, but my build allows us to win as a team.

Is your main character in a crew, if so what rank is the character?

I am Captain of the Hyperion.

Is your main character in a faction, if so which one and what is their faction rank?

I am a Council member in The Collective, which is the highest rank you can have. The Collective is one of the oldest factions in The Matrix Online with a start date of November 2003 and is the only faction I have ever been a part of.

What was your favorite chapter?

My favorite chapter would have to be the very beginning when Morpheus was killed. That was the most dramatic and exciting event.

What is your favorite neighborhood?

Stamos Northwest is my favorite neighborhood. It is the home hardline for my faction, The Collective.

Who is your favorite NPC?

My favorite NPC would be The Assassin for killing Morpheus.

What is the most $info you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?

The most I have ever spent was $30 million on an Area K for my alt.

Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so what is it and why do you keep it?

I still have my beta gear. I put it on every now and then at parties to remember the old times and remind everyone that I have been here from the beginning.

What do you like best about The Matrix Online?

I still cannot get over the fact that I am in "The Matrix." Hyper-jump never gets old to me, I love hyper-jumping through downtown and the scenery is eye candy. The community is also great and I have made many friends.

How would you describe your best experience playing The Matrix Online?

My best experience has been my faction and meeting people I play with in real life. I have long lasting friendships with people like Sugaree, Illyria, Midnight, Seraosha, Garutachi, and a host of people that I better not try to name or I will leave someone out. We have had "meet and greets" here in California where we have gone to the beach, movies, and gaming parties. I have even hung out with people in real life who are actually my enemies in game. This community is great! I enjoy putting on in-game parties and contests like the "Best Dressed Contest" or "Sexiest Redpill contests." Paying $15 a month for this entertainment far beats out paying $15 to go see a movie.

Do you run or work for a Matrix Online Fan Site or Radio Station?

The only website I have helped with is The Collective boards, www.thecollectiveguild.com. I applaud all of those out there who have put a lot of real world time and effort into fansites and radio stations. All of us make this community and game great not just one person.
