Subject: Fan Faire 2008 Registration Item: "Deep Blue Jeans"

Notes: Those who register as Matrix Online players for SOE's Fan Faire 2008 (taking place August 14-17 in Las Vegas; see this thread for Fan Faire 2008 event details.) will earn themselves this year's exclusive Fan Faire item: "Deep Blue Jeans."

Blue is usually frowned upon in the Matrix, where the Machines have found it doesn't pay to let the coppertops get too happy, but a select few, such as Sati, can get away with it. Register for Fan Faire, and you'll be one of the rare breed who can go true blue in the simulation!

These jeans have an extra-high-resolution texture, so detailed you can see the threads in the denim. They supply moderate level-scaling buffs to all four Resistances. While we may have other pairs of jeans in the Matrix, we'll never, ever have another unabashedly blue pair like this, so if you'd like your character to lounge around the city in classic blue jeans style, this is your one chance to make it happen!

A few more details:

• You only have to be registered for Fan Faire as an MXO player to qualify for the Deep Blue Jeans item; you don't actually have to go to the event itself, but we'd love to have you join us at the party in Vegas!


• The shirts shown in the image above are from MXO's third anniversary event, and are not included in this offer--but if you have one of those T-shirts, notice how well the Deep Blue Jeans complement them!


• After the Fan Faire 2008 event, those who were registered as MXO players will be asked which single character on the registered account should receive the Deep Blue Jeans. The jeans will be mailed to that character via in-game email. Details on this process will be posted on the MXO web site after the Fan Faire 2008 event wraps up in Vegas.


• The Deep Blue Jeans cannot be traded to other characters. Make no mistake: registering for Fan Faire 2008 really is your one and only chance at blue jeans in the Matrix Online!
