Where in the real life world do you live?
I live in Cheshire, England, but hopefully I'll be relocating to Canada within the near future.
How long have you played The Matrix Online?
I've played MxO since April of 2005.
What other MMOs have you played?
MxO was my first MMO, but since then I have tried SWG, PlanetSide, 9Dragons, EVE, and COH.
What type of work do you do?
I work in a bakery as a Production Operative.
What got you into gaming and what sort of games do you like the most?
I've been gaming for as long as I can remember with my first computer being a ZX Spectrum 48k…Gosh I'm showing my age! Horace Goes Skiing was the first ever game I played and since then I've owned numerous computers and consoles. Game wise I like most genres from Fighting to Sports to First Person Shooters though I would say that First Person Shooters are my favorites (not that I'm any good at them).
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other then playing The Matrix Online?
Besides MXO I like being DJ on Catzi Radio and spreading my love of music to the world, watching football and travelling when I can.
What is your highest character level in The Matrix Online?
Namroc is level 50
How or why did you choose your main character's name?
Originally I wanted a mythology type name but sadly all the best ones were taken. I was reading the horse racing section one day (I like to have a little flutter now and then) and there was a horse called Namroc. As I liked the name I chose it for MxO, so I'm named after a horse!
What Branch (Coder, Hacker, Operative) and ability tree is your main character?
I'm currently a Martial Artist although I do use some of the other trees depending on the occasion.
Why did you choose the Branch and ability tree that you did?
MA felt Matrixy and the animations for some of the moves are really cool so I went down the Kung Fu route first.
Is your main character in a crew, if so, what rank is the character?
I am currently a crew member aboard HvCFT Engima.
Is your main character in a faction, if so, which one and what is their faction rank?
Namroc started with TheCodemasons and recently rejoined them so I can end MXO with my first faction; it just seems a nice way to go out.
What was your favorite chapter?
Hmmm this a tough question, so I'll say all of them!
What is your favorite neighborhood?
My favorite is Kowloon, as I really like Hong Kong Park, but I also like Hampton Green in the area when the collector Jacob is.
Who is your favorite NPC?
The Effectuator is my favorite.
What is the most $info you have ever spent at one time and what did you purchase?
I haven't really made any substantial purchases. Most of my $info is given away as prize money for contests when I host The Rock Show with Namroc.
Do you have an item you no longer use but keep around for nostalgic reasons? If so, what is it and why do you keep it?
I have a full set of male anniversary shirts and most of them I don't wear!
What do you like best about The Matrix Online?
What I like best about MxO is the community. MxO has the best community I've ever been apart of and along the way I've made some good friends, friends for life.
How would you describe your best experience playing The Matrix Online?
My best experience was at the end of the Blue Sky event as I met The Merovingian at Club Sphinx. It was memorable for me as there were not many people there so the occasion felt more personal and intimate. Also it was my first time of meeting a Live Event character. Ah happy days!
Do you run or work for an MxO Fan Site or Radio Station?
Yes I am a DJ for Catzi Radio and host a Rock Show most Fridays on Syntax.
